In early 2024, a new version of The Red Death was announced as a “retailer-only” exclusive edition. This version swapped the red robes on the original for black soft goods, and the body colors were inverted (what was black became red and vice versa). Additionally, the large ebony clock had additional paint applications added to it, further highlighting some of the fine details in that larger diorama-style item. The “Black Robes” Masque of the Red Death is part of the “2024 4H Retailer Appreciation Wave” which is offered exclusively by the studio’s worldwide network of retailer partners.
